Lord of the Rings Online LoreBook Database Announces Beta

The developers over at Lord of the Rings Online announced yesterday that the new LoreBook Beta is now life for everyone to use. While it is still in beta it will be available for all to use. Eventually it will be editable by people with LotRO accounts.

The Lorebook is a wiki style database that is dedicated to Lord of the Rings online and currently has over 20,000 entries in it. Developers say there will be more added each day.

The new release has articles on quests, items, creatures, classes, races and almost anything found in Middle Earth. They are hoping to integrate it with your in-game account and much like the CORE mod that GameAmp is working on. This will allow users to participate in community development of the lorebook while being ingame. They hope players will inturn add articles with tips, tricks and other information about the game to their lorebook.
